Terms & conditions of service for contract hire.

These words of “us, we or our” is responded as komplex Timberworks & subcontractors.

These words “you, your, clients, customers, & main contractors are all paying customers. Or contractors on your behalf.

 Contract working day

1. Available working hours are from: 07:00hrs – to 16:30hrs, Monday to Friday

2. The working day is between 4 To 9 hrs a day Monday to Saturday

3. The working week is between 1 to 6 days in a week Monday to Saturday

4.  A fixable timetable maybe required.

5. Any hours beyond these hours may be additional over time. I.e. time and a half per hour or time in lieu.

6. 30 minutes morning break or 15mins morning & afternoon break. (Approx. 10:00hrs / 15:00 hrs.) included in the working day.

7. 30 minutes lunch break excluding from the working day (Approx. 13:00hrs)

8. Other breaks maybe required on extreme weather condition or heavy workloads

9. Saturday working day is between 08:00hrs – to 15:00hrs. 8 hrs will be charged.   

 

Komplex Timberworks company rate(s) & charge(s)  

Komplex timberworks ltd employed staff to cover basic company running cost are all included in the rates below.

Additional self-employed subcontractors labour hire rate. To cover admin & running costs, we charge 20% on top of the rates below for each individual person.

Management of construction jobs

1. Contract rate & conditions only applies to the agreed contract.

2. location: up to 30 miles Radius of CM3

3. Contract day Rate:

4. Contract hourly rate: per hour

5. Working Hours per day:  8 hours. 

6. Site Manger will be responsible of overall running of site, communications with Customers, Architects, engineers, planning office, written & electric communications with contractor’s head office, evidence gathering, health & Safety on site for all. Organising all trades materials & managing labour on site.   

7. Only responsible for this level only

 

 

 

Carpenter Supervisor or responsible for organising & the running of jobs.

1. Contract rate & conditions only applies to the agreed contract.

2. location: up to 30 miles Radius of CM1

3. Contract day Rate:

4. Contract hourly rate: per hour:

5. Working Hours per day:  8 hours. 

6. Carpenter Forman will be responsible for organising of carpentry materials & labour, communications with clients & site manager, general running of site. Carpentry work as described in carpenter contract hire. Own & other carpenters Health & safety.   

7. Only responsible for this level only.

 

Carpenters Contract Rate & Conditions

1. Contract rate & conditions only applies to the agreed contract.

2. location: up to 30 miles Radius of IP14

3. Contract day Rate:

4. Contract hourly rate: per hour

5. Working Hours per day:  8.5 hours. 

6. Carpenter will be Responsible for carrying out all types of carpentry woodwork, assemble all types of wood products together and as describes in komplex timberworks web site. Own & trainee health & Safety. Clearing all rubbish.

7. Only responsible for this level only

 

Labours & semiskilled carpenters.

1. Contract rate & conditions only applies to the agreed contract.

2. Location up to 30 miles radius of CM1

3. Contract day Rate:

4. Contract hourly rate: per hour:

5. Working Hours per day:  8.5 hours. Materials / fixing

6. Labour & semiskilled Carpenters will be Responsible for carrying out all types of carpentry woodwork, loading materials & assemble all types of wood products together and as describes in Komplex timberworks Ltd web site. Own health & Safety.

7. Only responsible for this level only

 

Trainee carpenters up to NVQ level two

1. Contract rate & conditions only applies to the agreed contract.

2. location: up to £30 miles of CM1

3. Contract day Rate:

4. Contract hourly rate:

5. Working Hours per day:  8.5 hours.

6. Trainee Carpenters will be Responsible for carrying out all types of carpentry woodwork, loading materials & assemble all types of wood products together and as describes in komplex timberworks web site. Own health & Safety

7. Only responsible for this level only

 

 

Client to make reasonable effects to:

1. Have a professional work like manner.

2. Clear working space either out or inside. 

3. Reasonable effects to a safe working area.

4. Clear instructions of works to be carried out, preferable drawings, or in writing.

5. Organized with orders of materials, information & instructions.  

6. Information to be up to date.

7. Running water & electric.

8. Access to toilet and sanitary

9. Advice of Health & safety on site.

10. Advise Site rules.

11. Must give reasonable time to complete projects

12. Allow a small element of time for rectification.

13. Allow a small element of time for personal needs.

14. Grace for human error.

 Client may ask Komplex Timberworks ltd & Subcontractors to:

1. Leave at any time.

2. Stop work

3. Question methods of works.

4. Refuse to tolerate, verbal, mental or/& physical abuse, & Pressure.

5. Advise & information

6. Help

Komplex Timberworks ltd, & Sub-contractors will make reasonable effects to:

1. Have a professional work like manner.

2. Complete projects to a satisfied standard.

3. Complete projects in a reasonable time scale.

4. Any mistakes to be corrected.

5. Help maintain a clear working environment.

6. Make reasonable effect to Work in a clean & safe manner.

7. Follow site health & safety rules, Site requirements

8. Allow a small element of time for rectification.

9. Allow a small element of time for others personal needs.

10. Grace for human error.

 

 Komplex Timberworks ltd. & subcontractors are obligated to:

1. Start or leave at any time. But only charge time spent on site at the agreed daily / hourly rate.

2. To leave site without reason. but may do so out of common courtesy

3. Flexible working time scale.

4. Give advice or information at own choice.

5. Help other trades. At our own choice.

6. Allowed personal time.

7. Refuse to tolerate, verbal, mental or/& physical abuse, & Pressure.

8.  Have the right to protect personal, business equipment & interest. With legal reasonable force.

9.  To be treated with common decency & common courtesy

 Terms of service

1. All equipment is supplied by us is for our own use only. Maybe lent out at our own decision with our own terms “if damaged will be replace with new or like for like before damage has been made. At your own cost

2. Komplex Timberworks ltd is an independent company offering only a carpentry service and is not connected to any other company or responsible for any other business. And there will not be responsible for any negligence by other companies.

3. Komplex timberworks is a carpentry company & will not be responsible for any Structural engineering errors or/ & in current information.

4. All structural information must be in written before we can carry out any work if we have been advised by verbal communication to continue All works carried out will be of the main builder / contractor’s responsibility.

5. Refuse to work based on poor weather conditions or un-safe workplace.

6. The right to refuse health and safety advice. If the advice would cause more harm than good.

7. The right to refuse health & safety advise that could lead to greater damage to personal risk, tools or personal equipment.

8. By allowing Komplex Timberworks ltd and subcontractor to start work you acknowledge and accept these terms & conditions.

9. Invoice is due payable by no later than 7days of invoice weekending date. Or agreed pay role date. 

10. We may refuse to work, based on non-payment (7 days after invoice week ending date

11. Towers scaffolds will be charged at the rental agreed rate.

12. Our standard equipment for our hand tools for general carpentry. included in rates

13. Our standard power tools: circular saw, chop saw, hammer drill, jig saw, routers, nail guns & pin gun. are included in the rates

14. Specialist equipment & other power tools will be charged at the rental agreed rate.

15. May change or update our terms & conditions at any time.

16. A failure to give 24 hours’ notice will be charged a full day’s pay. Per person

17. Any faulty workmanship / carpentry work to be reported to us either by email, or in writing. As soon as possible.

18. Any complaints or feedbacks to be emailed to our email address.

19. 7 days’ notice is required before any counter charge

20. 10% Admin charge is applicable on all materials on invoices.

21. Noise levels will be kept to a minimal before 08:00 & after 17:00 hrs.

22. Materials will be charged at Full cost.

23. Delivery cost will be charged.

24. All parking charges will be charged when no parking is available on the job.

25. Setting up & clearing away our equipment is included in our working day.

26. Mileage charge maybe chargeable for any job’(s) location further than 30 miles from cm1 at 80p per mile (one way)

27. Only traveling to one job location per day is included in our rates under (30 miles radius of CM3) any multi jobs location per day maybe liable to 50p mile charge. 

28. Any work over 100 miles CM3 will be charged Accommodation cost plus evening meal per person. 

29. Any work inside the M25 will be subject to additional costs of any vehicle taxes, congestion charges, parking & fines for driving in London.

30. Labour rate Travel time will be chargeable after 30 miles of CM3. Plus inside the M25. & travel time is included in the working day.

 

COVID-19

Komplex timberworks ltd & contractors will take reasonable action to prevent the spread of the virus and these actions will be carried out

1. Antibacterial spray & masks will be supplied and used in customers homes.

2. We advise customers clients & public to keep their distance of 1.5 meters where possible

3. Kitchen & Toilets facilities will be regular cleaned where possible. Along with doorhandles.

4. We will ask you every day if you are well & are content for ours to continue working, if you feel ill you must advise use as soon as possible. & we will do the same.

We guarantee our work under these terms only

 Our Guarantees are to reassure you that our service’s meets a good standard of workmanship that is structural stable & visual appearance meets the customer’s requirements. That is physical to achieve & that complies with trading standards. And other legal requirements 

 Guarantees are valid for

1. Structural timber works are valid up to 25 years

2. High quality carpentry works up to 10 years

3. low quality carpentry works up to 3 years

Our guarantees are NOT valid if

1. Been Tampered / interfered with.

2. Non -visible effect to follow instructions or guidance.

3. Negligence to our work.

4. Extreme weather conditions

5. By non- members of Komplex timberworks ltd.

6. An act of war or/& civil unrest.

7. Low quality materials & fixings are supplied by customers (or limited guarantee periods.)

8. Komplex timber ltd works is continuing with other’s companies work. Or working with other subcontractors.

Client to acknowledge By signing day work sheet on site by either site management on behalf of your company or yourself you agree & acknowledge that Komplex timberworks ltd. & sub-contractors have been present on site for the correct hours and works are completed to acceptable standards also day work sheets will be used to calculate the correct invoice price either bye agreed hourly rate/ day rate or square metre rate.
